In a nutshell, Q1 was filled with AI, travel meetups, AI, SXSW events, AI, and well, you get the idea… Check out Paul & Kate’s chat on Youtube for the detail. Otherwise, here are the highlights:
✈️ 🌑 Team & Client Meetups
Airport Fly-By: An impromptu airport meetup in New Orleans with Pulse of Perseverance Co-Founder and COO, Dr Pierre Johnston and Ingrid Clay. The P3 app goes live in May. Learn more about the incredible work being done by P3 to support disadvantaged youth!
Vision Pro Teletour: Still in New Orleans, Paul met up with Teletour’s Ashley Martinez for a demo of Apple’s Vision Pro, and conceptualize possibilities for the future of Teletour. Check out Teletour here.
SXSW Activation: Our Austin team, and specifically Kayne and Sandip hosted our DC crew as we arrived to support The Freedom Forum at the 1A House right next to the Convention Center where SXSW was in full swing. Our design team supported the graphics displays on location and at ATX airport, previewing the upcoming release of Today’s Front Pages 2.0 that we’re launching this month.
DC Happy Hours: With Cameca in town for her visit to DC we hosted a customary happy hour for team, clients and friends of 3A. Obligatory visit to the best Irish pub in the DC area. We’re looking at your Ireland’s Four Courts!
Solar Eclipse: The Austin team enjoyed mixed views of totality, while our co-owners Darren and Paul took their kids to Ohio to witness this amazing celestial event! Beautiful weather meant full totality which was spectacular, as was the experience of full self driving on the new Tesla updates.
💼 🙌 Back at the Office
Process & Organization: In January we rolled out a new org structure and 1:1s process that has been a great success, providing important feedback and opportunity to listen and align.
New Clients: In Q1 we got a few new clients namely: P3, Science News, WorthIt. Fun fact WorthIt is our first international client in our 14 years of existence.
Latest Launch: Bene Tipping’s brand new website just went live, along with a myriad of new features to their platform including tip matching and subscriptions! Today’s Front Pages 2.0 goes live in the next two weeks, and our super secret doggie app is almost ready to roll too. Woof!
New Faces: With Raf, Joe & Giorgio joining the team we had a few new faces this quarter. They’ve been a great addition to the team so far and our investment in AI continues to pay off.
Lunch & Learn: Being a remote company we needed a way to connect with each other and share our learnings across teams. It’s possible we might even open these up to the public. Watch this space!
 | In keeping up with our AI moves, we are launching a brand new Podcast. Paul & Rafael will be your hosts for this exciting new venture. What’s Appening: Adventures in Apps & AI will launch its first season “GPT Creators” in this second quarter. In the What's Appening podcast, we will interview the creators behind GPTs on the GPT Store. You’ll know their faces, stories, and you'll maybe even learn to use prompts to unlock your own potential. |
